1989 KAWASAKI EN 450 LTD Classic cruiser chopper

1989 EN450 LTD Cruiser... better than a Virago 535 A.K.A. Kawasaki EN454 LTD in USA. I bought this 18 months ago to run while I renovated my Pan European. However, I had to do some repairs on it but really got to like it and spent over £600 in parts alone over last 18 months. The Pan is now done and I've also bought a very large Kawasaki KLV 1000, so this has to be sold due to space needed. I've personally done a lot of work on it and it runs like a dream, but it's a bit small for my height and weight (6'3" & 18 stone). The bike itself is very light (190 Kg) and quite lively with it's 450cc 50bhp water-cooled twin engine. Despite it's rarity, obtaining parts is not a problem as many later Kawasakis use the same basic engine/transmission and other items, e.g. later 500cc engined bikes. It is surprisingly comfortable to ride. Despite my size, I've ridden it for more than 200 miles in a day. The forward footpegs make all the difference if, like me, you have a gammy knee! Please check out the video for a full cold start and riding demo, plus you'll see other videos of the bike in action on my "FlyingPanMan" YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/8_GuQcMAsVk Within last 18 months, 6k miles: New Items: New flywheel with one-piece magnet New headstock bearings fitted Belt to chain drive conversion inc. 2 sprockets, chain, sprocket carrier & spacers New pair of silencers and baffles. New Regulator/Rectifier New plug caps New spark plugs New HT leads New upgraded automatic Cam Chain Tensioner New loud!! twin-tone horn and relay New battery New windscreen New clutch cable New Air filters New oil filter and oil around 2 k miles ago New petcock repair kit Replaced Items: Replaced front wheel (original ran slightly out of true causing brake judder) Replaced front brake disc (replaced in attempt to cure judder) Replaced radiator due to corrosion Replaced/repaired rad. fan & switch Replaced coolant Noteworthy:MOT expires this week, but new one will be obtained.Clock (Okay, it's actually a waterproof digital watch). 12v. waterproof power socket Both tyres in very good condition Tank has been cleaned and sealed - no leaks or rust. Carbs. removed, checked, adjusted, cleaned and synchronised. Bought spare seat Spare left side cover Workshop manual Saddlebags old but work well Spare triple tree Box of many spares such as levers, plugs, coils, etc. Not so good points: This is a very presentable 25 year old bike but here's a list of things not quite up to my personal standard... Seat cover has cracks either side Rear brake squeals Swingarm has been blasted and painted - no rust, but not smooth finish. Chrome plating on silencers looks ok, but a bit thin (aftermarket cans). Viewing welcome at most times, but cover needed for test rides. Reserve price will not be disclosed.PayPal deposit required within 24hrs. at end of auctionNO FOREIGN BIDDERS, SHIPPERS, OR SCAMMERS PLEASE.
